This policy describes how MONOLITH - Puzzle ("the app") handles information when you install and use it on Android. It is provided for transparency and to support listings on Google Play.
The app saves gameplay data and preferences locally: level progress, tier unlocks, hint counts, audio settings, and related game state. This data stays on your device unless you back up or transfer your device in a way that includes app data.
You can remove this data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). AdMob may collect or process device identifiers and technical data to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have given consent.
Where required by law (for example in the EU/EEA/UK), the app presents a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form before initialising ads. You can review or change your ad preferences through your device settings or Google's tools.
Ad formats used: banner ads, interstitial ads (between levels, after a qualifying number of wins), and rewarded ads (optionally watched to earn in-game hints).
Google's handling of advertising data is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
If you purchase Remove Ads, the app stops showing banner and interstitial ads once the purchase is confirmed. You may still choose to watch rewarded ads for bonus hints in the Store.
Purchases (for example: remove ads, hint refills, hint pool expansions) are processed by Google Play Billing. Google collects information needed to complete transactions, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law — see Google Play Terms of Service. The app receives only what is necessary to confirm purchase state (for example, whether banner and interstitial ads should be hidden).
The app does not currently use a separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK. If this changes, this policy will be updated before the new functionality ships.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal bases are: contract performance (providing the game), legitimate interests (security and abuse prevention), and — where required — consent for personalised advertising, managed through Google's UMP consent tools.
Local game data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Purchase records are retained by Google under Google's policies.
When you use Google services integrated in the app (Play, Ads, payments), data may be processed in countries where Google operates, as described in Google's privacy policy.
Use this page with #delete-data as your Play Console Delete data URL.
To ask that we delete or restrict any information connected to you (where applicable), email lukas.marek23@gmail.com with Data deletion request in the subject line. Describe your request briefly; we may need your Play account email or order ID for purchases. Local game progress can be removed immediately by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. For data held by Google (ads, Play purchases), also use your Google Account privacy and ad settings where relevant.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Most app data is local and can be deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling. For Google-held advertising or purchase data, use Google's account and privacy tools. For any other requests, contact us at lukas.marek23@gmail.com.
We may update this policy when the app changes (for example, new features or SDKs). The updated effective date will be shown at the top. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy unless applicable law requires otherwise.
